Opening Keynote & Robotics Expert

Opening keynote Mikkel Viager will share business relevant perspectives on new technologies and give his opinion on why it is important to consider the potential impact of exploiting robot technologies, as well as demonstrate how artificial intelligence can disrupt the limitations of automated solutions.

Mikkel Viager is a robotics engineer with experience in research and development of new and useful technological solutions. As partner in Gain & Co, Mikkel currently utilizes his know-how to assist companies and organizations in their efforts to benefit from the use of robots and automation.

Inspirational Keynote Heading into Space

To underline the theme of the event – ‘Travel Retail on The Move’ – the Nordic Travel Retail Group has invited CEO of Spaceport Sweden, Karin Nilsdotter to be our inspirational keynote.

More Confirmed Speakers:

  • Dermot Davitt, President and Co-Owner, The Moodie Davitt Report, will open second session with a talk about ‘trends and influences in travel retail’. Giving an overview of today’s travel retail, he will further address the future of travel retail and talk about how the rules of the game are changing.
  • From Mondelez World Travel Retail, Head of Category Planning, Ivo Knuesel is contributing to the program and sharing his thoughts on ‘What Is the Future Value Proposition” in the confectionary category.
  • From William Grant & Sons, Head of Marketing Global Travel Retail, Ifan Jenkins is contributing to the program and sharing his thoughts on ‘What Is the Future Value Proposition” in the spirits category.
  • From Lumene, Cécile Shrimpton, Global Marketing Director, is contributing to the program and sharing her thoughts on ‘What Is the Future Value Proposition” in the beauty category.
  • Industry Manager with Google, Rune Seebach, will talk about how technology is changing consumer behaviour in the travel industry. He will introduce how Google is designing technology solutions for travel and how travel companies can integrate with these solutions.
  • Dermot Davitt: This year again, the President and Co-Owner, The Moodie Davitt Report, is our moderator to create a good context and an inspiring debate

VENUE: The venue for this year’s event is Langelinie Pavillonen centrally and beautifully located at the Copenhagen Harbour and almost next to the statue of The Little Mermaid

Cancellations & Refund

Cancellations should be sent in writing prior to the event.

  • Prior to 30 April 2018 – 50% refund/50 percent payment due
  • Prior to 15 May 2018 – 25% refund/75 percent of the fee must be paid.
  • Later than 15 May 2018 – no refund/full payment due.
