Mikkel Vedby Rasmussen is one of Denmarkâs leading voices on geopolitics, crises, and strategic thinking. A professor of political science at the University of Copenhagen, he combines deep academic insight with hands-on experience advising both Danish and international institutions. Known for his ability to make complex global developments clear and relevant, Mikkel offers engaging, insightful, and often humorous perspectives on a rapidly changing world. His talks provide audiences with a practicalunderstanding of how to navigate uncertainty.
Clara Susset is Chief Operating Officer at m1nd-set, where she leads research and consultancy projects across travel retail, airports, and airlines. With a background as both Research Director and project manager, she brings extensive experience in turning consumer insight into strategic value for global brands, retailers, and industry associations. Educated at HEC Lausanne, Clara combines strong analytical expertise with an international outlook, shaped by her Swiss-Spanish background and multilingual fluency. She is known for her ability to translate complex research into clear, actionable insights that help businesses navigate a rapidly evolving travel landscape.
Stephen Hillam is the founder of Pi Insight and a leading expert in travel retail research and data-driven strategy. With a background in senior roles at top industry consultancies, he brings extensive experience in delivering insight and strategic direction to global brands, retailers, and industry associations. At Pi Insight, Stephen leads a team of specialists dedicated to turning complex data into clear, actionable perspectives. Known for his sharp analytical approach and deep industry knowledge, he offers audiences valuable insight into the trends shaping travel retail today and tomorrow.
Robert Karjel is an author and speaker with a background in the Swedish Armed Forces, where he trained as a Attack Helicopter Pilot and served as a lieutenant colonel. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Applied Physics and has also received training with the United States Marine Corps. In 2016, he was named Speaker of the Year, and he has written five political thrillers.
